June has been a REALLY expensive month for us as well. $509 for a speech therapy "evaluation," $710 for car maintenance (at least they gave us a free loaner!), club dues, Costco membership, etc. These aren't regular monthly budget line items. On a positive note, it looks like our refinance might close in the next couple of days after just five months of madness!!

Hey Erin,
Yeah, it's something I've been doing since I started. Just because I'm super paranoid. I guess I would have to talk to our tax guy about which is the more economical/smarter way to go (or the one you recommended awhile back.) Maybe I'll put that on the list now for next spring.

Writer's insurance? Holy cow. Would it be more effective to create an LLC to limit liability that way? I'm afraid I'm rather cavalier on this point, and have never bought this type of insurance.
