What Do You Think of These New Ideas?

So while we’re working behind-the-scenes here on getting the new blog look up and running, I thought I’d tell you my ideas for what I think it’s going to tackle.

I had this burst of inspiration yesterday to create some different categories that posts can fall under, such as:

Before Kids

After Kids

We Tried It

You Asked (top financial planning questions/issues)

Give Back

I think these will cover the gamut of the day-to-day stuff my own family (and perhaps yours, too) faces — our questions, what we’ve learned from actual experience, what I’ve learned from reporting stories or otherwise researching, what works, and what doesn’t. My goal is to try to put this stuff out there in the way I think I’d want if I were visiting someone’s blog, to make it something you want to stick around for and contribute to, and to keep it fun. Or at least fun-ish!

If these spur ideas for other things you’d like to see, let me know. I’m looking forward to putting this together.
