By happenstance yesterday, my son’s play date was right by a physical bank branch. As in, you go in and fill out a slip to deposit or withdraw money. Remember that? Or how about those drive-in tube things? Do they still do that great sucking-whoosh thing? I used to love that when I was a kid.
Anyway, in about one minute, they reset my card’s pin number and I was good to go. Since I was there, physically, with my driver’s license, they were also happy to tell me my account number. I pocketed it like it was a secret location to a speakeasy. Nice to be reminded that sometimes you just can’t beat the real world for ease of use.
